I worked with Moshe for my personal statement and I am very satisfied with the help he provided. Going into the process, I was unsure about what a successful statement entails. I also felt unsure about my ability to write in such a personal manner, since that was not the type of writing I was accustomed to. Having Moshe’s advice and feedback made the process feel a lot less intimidating.
Moshe started by instructing me to write out my life story, which helped me connect the dots in my life and begin to develop a story of why I want to attend law school. After writing out my life story and developing an outline connecting pivotal moments in my life, the writing process flowed a lot easier.
Reflecting back on this process, I am grateful that I worked with someone who enabled me to view my life from different angles. Though the process was frustrating at times, it was ultimately incredibly rewarding. Moshe’s feedback did more than help me develop a strong personal statement–it helped me grow as a creative writer and storyteller. And I got into my top choice law school.
