V.L. from Franklin Lakes, NJ

When I first decided that I was going to be applying to law school I was completely overwhelmed and confused about where to even begin. Having used an admissions consultant for college applications, I knew my first step on my law school journey would be finding a consultant to guide me through the process. I thought of the only person I knew from my area that was currently in law school and reached out to her for advice. That’s when I found Moshe.

After my initial call with Moshe, I was feeling a little bit hesitant about using him. For starters, it was a lot of money to be giving someone up front that you had only heard of through word of mouth. Second, I hadn’t even taken my LSAT yet so I didn’t know what type of score I would be receiving, or if it would be worth it to have an admissions consultant with a low score. Nevertheless, Moshe reassured me of all of my concerns. If I got a low score and decided I wanted to take a gap year instead, Moshe was able to defer his services for a year. In regard to pricing, I had a lot of reflection in that department. I ultimately came to the decision that yes you are spending a lot of money now, but if Moshe’s services can help get you into the top law schools in the country, you will be making that money back faster than you remember it leaving your account.

I can say that I’m so glad that I trusted my instincts and worked with Moshe. I started my initial brainstorming process with him around July/August and submitted all my applications in January, so it was a decently long period of time. There were many points along the way where we disagreed on certain things, which caused us both to become frustrated, but Moshe’s constant communication and availability allowed us to talk through issues and come out on the other side with even better work. Working with Moshe is not an easy way out of doing law school applications. You will have to put in a lot of hard work, but Moshe will always match that energy. If you are putting in your best effort, so is he.

By the end of our time working together, we had around 17 versions of my Personal Statement and 15 versions of my Resume. I say this because to me that shows constant improvement which allowed my material to be the best it could possibly be. Moshe’s revisions aren’t just changing words here and there and fixing grammar, they are thoughtful and calculated changes that alter your writing for the better. Even down to the last few days before I submitted my applications, we were still making changes throughout my materials so that they would form a cohesive story that truly reflects me as an individual.

With all of that being said, I genuinely do not think I would be where I am without Moshe’s consulting. I have officially been accepted to the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School through the Early Decision process which is beyond my wildest dreams. While I can accredit this success to the hard work and effort I have put in in the past few years leading up to this moment, I still don’t think it would have happened without Moshe.  I was a reverse splitter at Penn, so getting accepted was far from a guarantee, but now I am excited to say that it is my reality!

Moshe has such incredible knowledge of the entire admissions process that he was really a key point of advice and information for me throughout our months working together. Overall, if you’re looking for an extremely hands-on consultant who will review every last detail of your statements and supplements until they are near perfection, then Moshe is the one for you. Be prepared for some tough love and criticism along the way but know that in the end, the outcome is 100% worth it.
